| 30th January | Club members to select the 3 films to be entered for the North Thames Region Triangle competition, for which each entrant submits one story, one documentary and one film of free choice |
| 13th February | Wedding films with Keith. Keith will show some of his efforts including the wedding of a club member |
| 27th February | Triangle 1st Round. Our films will be judged against those of Oxford Video Society. The winner will go on to the semi final |
| 6th March | Guest Speaker:– Gerard
Green. Gerard will tell us about the restoration of Valentine’s Mansion |
| 20th March | Members Movies. Bring a video and invite comments. This is an opportunity for members to show a video in a non competitive atmosphere. Max length 10 minutes. |
| 3rd April | 2nd Round of the Triangle Competition. Our films will be judged against clubs of Norwich Movie Makers and Finchley Film Makers. |
| 24th April | Understanding HD etc:- Fred will lead an evening to help us understand the jargon surrounding HD |
| 1st May | Reviewing old club movies.The club has a number of cine
films which will be shown and members will be asked to decide whether they
are worthy to be transferred to DVD Changed at last minute because of equipment concerns to IAC showreel |
| 15th May | Guest speaker:-Michael Slowe. Michael won the 2008 North Thames competition and will be showing this and a selection of his films |
| 29th May | Comedy Films. An evening of funny films (both club and others) |
| 5th June | Annual Competition. This competition is for movies not exceeding 20 minutes in length |
| 19th June | Guest Speaker:- Christine Collins. Christine will be using
films to explain editing techniques |
| 3rd July | Fred Sibbet Competition.This competition is for movies of not more than 5 minutes in length |
| 17th July | A show reel by Terry Mendosa from South Essex Film Makers |
| 31st July | Alan Amor will talk to us about steady cam and show us some of the films he has made using it. |
| 7th August | Staines Cine and Video Club show reel |
| 21st August | Brenda and Eric on shooting sequences etc |
| 4th September | Paul Dowdall will give us an up date on his progress with green screen, and members will show the results they achieved in making a 4 minute film from 12 minutes of footage. |
| 18th September | KO with Potters Bar. We host the annual competition between our club and Potters Bar Cine and Video Society |
| 2nd October | John Day Competition. This competition is for movies made in or about East Anglia. If time permits it will be followed by members non competition movies |
| 16th October | Guest Speaker:-Aivar Kaulins. Aivar will be showing us a selection of his films |
| 30th October | Limmer Competition. This competition is for holiday films not exceeding 15 minutes |
| 6th November | Filming in the Club Room. Mike Hobbs will lead the making of short movies in the club room |
| 27th November | Movie Night. Tonight we show case our efforts to friends and family |
| 4th December | Guest Speaker:-Peter Laurence. Peter will give us a talk about the history of the Wanstead and Woodford area. |
| 18th December | Christmas Evening. Joan will lead us in this entertaining quiz night |
